Running in the Dark and Cold is Cool!
Maybe that's not totally true, but I do think it is better than getting heatstroke. I actually really like running this time of year, you know, seeing my breath and all. The key for me is to just make myself get out there. It stands to reason that the inhospitible outdoor conditions make it very tough to start, but easier to keep going once I get started. I feel like when I run this time of year I'm truly fulfilling my destiny as a runner since I am plodding through difficulties that others would shy away from. Stay strong dear Crage (and get some good gloves)!

i have some good gloves (the are actually women's gloves because of their fit--so lets call them unisex). i agree the get up and go is key but we have a lot more rain and i love trails and trails plus dark equals broken ankles. ok there is some excuses lame as they are. Glad to see the rapid reply...i feel like we are attempting a renewed investment in this.
